How we remember your choice
We save the davcam.consent key in your browser’s localStorage. It contains accepted or declined purposes, the policy version, the date of your choice and an expiry date six calendar months later. It contains no name or email address and is not sent to a remote consent register.
Your choice applies to this browser and origin: it is shared between Italian and English pages on the same domain, but not between different devices or between the main domain and www. If you clear site data, you will need to choose your preferences again.
The banner reappears when there is no valid choice, when it expires or when the version of the described purposes changes. If your browser prevents saving, your choice applies only to the current page.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, with measurement ID G-3YEYW44YL3, to measure visits, navigation, clicks and successful contact form submissions. With analytics consent, the tag may read and write first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_3YEYW44YL3 to distinguish users and sessions. Cookie lifetimes are managed by the Google tag configuration.
Before you make a choice and after you decline, Google Analytics may still send cookieless signals to Google for measurement and modeling.
These signals may include information about the page and interaction, consent state and technical request data such as user agent and IP address. Without analytics consent, the tag does not read or write Analytics cookies; this does not stop all communication with Google.
Google Signals and advertising
The advertising preference controls Google consent for advertising storage, advertising data use and personalization. Google Signals also requires analytics consent and activation in the Analytics property: it may enrich reports with demographics and interests of eligible Google users.
Accepting this purpose does not itself enable Google Signals in the property or create campaigns. First-party advertising cookies, when present, may use the _gcl_ prefix. Available features also depend on linked Google product settings and the Google user’s choices.
How to change or withdraw consent
You can open Cookie preferences from every page’s footer, from this page or from the dedicated control in layouts without a footer. The two purposes can be selected separately. Accept all enables both; Decline or closing the banner denies both. Closing the preferences panel without saving keeps your last choice.
Changes are communicated to the tag immediately. When consent is withdrawn, the site deletes Analytics or advertising first-party cookies accessible to the site for the declined purpose. Subsequent requests follow the new consent state; cookieless requests may continue. Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete data already sent to Google or cookies on other domains.
Other services and technical preferences
These preferences control GA4 and Google Signals. Google Maps and reCAPTCHA for spam protection load separately and are not affected by this choice.
The local davcam.analytics.disabled key remembers a personal exclusion from measurement when enabled through analytics=off. This exclusion completely blocks the Analytics tag in this browser and origin and takes precedence over preferences. analytics=on removes the exclusion without automatically accepting any purpose.
The Analytics tag is disabled in development builds, on previews, during prerendering and when browser storage cannot be read.
