Custom, hybrid, or native iOS and Android apps
I built my first iOS and Android app in 2016, discovering an area of programming that immediately fascinated me.
Since then I have developed apps for smartphones and tablets in very different fields: calendars and scheduling, work tools for operations teams, geolocation, end-user services, and apps connected to web platforms.
I build apps using Ionic, Capacitor, and Cordova, and write native iOS and Android code when I need access to advanced features, giving clients the right balance between functionality, performance, and user experience.
I develop software by listening to the client's needs, understanding the idea, getting involved in the project, and helping build the application that best reflects those needs.
I work closely with the client to make sure every phase, from design to store release, meets requirements and delivers the expected results.
I also handle store adjustments, maintenance, publishing, and technical continuity for iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones, and tablets.
I base software design, whether for a mobile app or a cloud web platform, on the data the application must manage, the type of that data, and the relationships between it.
Secure data access is also essential. Data must always be protected by rules that should be standard today but are too often ignored.
Data is always transmitted over encrypted connections, protected by authentication, and visible only to users who have permission based on their role, so even malicious or expert users with system access cannot access what they should not.
When native development is worth it
Not every app needs to be 100% native, but in some cases custom Swift and Kotlin development really makes the difference.
- Barcode scanners, NFC, Bluetooth, and dedicated peripherals
- Advanced geolocation and background tasks
- Camera, file system, and specific system APIs
- High-performance mobile experiences for intensive use
Apps connected to business processes
Many apps I develop are not isolated products: they connect with management software, CRM, web apps, and cloud services to bring business processes directly onto the device.
- Field data collection with centralized synchronization
- Apps for technicians, agents, operators, and mobile staff
- Dashboards, checklists, documents, notifications, and approval workflows
- Offline access when connectivity is intermittent
